Castle

The castle is closed
And now I’m left here waiting
Sitting alone in my boat
I have a dream that I’m anticipating
As I’m rowing circles on this moat

Oh that I could see
For the fog is surrounding me
Oh that I could flee
But I hear you calling
I hear you calling

The winter is deep
And the sky is now beating
Upon my umbrella and coat
But blankets are here
There is food for the eating
I just pray that my ship stays afloat

Oh that I could see
For the snow is now falling on me
On that I could flee
But I hear you calling
I hear you calling

I wake up one morning
It’s springtime and daisies
Still sitting alone in my boat
The grass is now dry
And the water’s pace lazy
Back to rowing circles on this moat

Oh that I could see
For the light is blinding me
Oh that I could see
Cause I hear you calling
Calling, calling
I hear you calling to me
